This CD is comprised of 13 original songs that were written and sung by Island and Island- connected songwriters. Fantastic writer/ singers each donated one of their songs to be used in this project and lovers of the arts and believers in the Trueblood Performing Arts Center donated the monies needed to record the songs and put this CD and cover together. The songs are a mix of folk, light rock, blues, reggae, and country, and I believe will be enjoyed whether you have or have not visited the Island. The CD makes a great gift, no matter what the occasion or if for no occasion! And you should certainly have one for yourself! Lastly, all CD profits from sales go to the Theater.
The project was produced byJulian Hagen and sound engineer Kevin Jones and the songs are a mix of folk, blues, country, light rock and reggae.
